What are the precautions for installing wear resistant ceramic elbow pipe?
Wear resistant ceramic products are produced and supplied from Chemshun Ceramics Manufacturer. Alumina tile, ceramic lined pipe, hexagonal tile, rubber ceramic hose etc are popular abrasion resistant ceramic linings. As producer and installer of ceramics, most of buyers are confused about ceramic lined pipe installation. Here Chemshun Ceramics would like to share the tips as follows :
First,wear resistant ceramic elbow has high hardness, good toughness, but handling,it should be gently relocated to avoid serious collisions during installation process, particularly to avoid direct impact on the metal surface ceramic layer.
Second, the installation of the elbow has directivity. When the elbow is installed, the direction indicated by the arrow on the elbows shall be consistent with the flowing direction of the conveying medium, and the longer end of the elbows shall be the outlet direction.
Third, pipeline centerline should be aligned, the level to be level, to ensure that the two ends of the docking accuracy. Both ends of the amount of displacement to be controlled within 1.0 mm.
Fourth, the use of flange connection, the flange face to be flush with the composite pipe end face.
Fifth, due to excellent welding performance of wear resistant ceramic lined elbow pipe , the pipe connection method can also be carried out by welding, but when welding, the bevel of the slope of 45 ° ~ 60 ° "V" is 2 ~ 4mm, leaving no space, should adopt a small current intermittent welding.
