High density alumina ceramic linings and abrasion resistant tiles prevent destructive wear in conveying, processing, and storage equipment. it is made from high purity, fine grain, alpha aluminum oxide, a material almost diamond hard.which is widely used in indutries of mining ,primary steel, fire power plant, cement, port etc

Normal alumina ceramics property inclues hardness, density, water absorption, flexural strength, fracture toughness, and hardness is one of property which measure the alumina ceramic lining quality.normally the harder the ceramic liner is, better wear resistance property the alumina  ceramic is.we often indicate the hardness by Moh's harndess, Vickers hardness and Rockwell hardness.

1: Moh's hardness is by scratch method ,tapered diamond pin scratch the surface of mineral

stone, the stone tools includes talc, gypsum, calcite, fluorite, apatite, feldspar, quartz, topaz, corundum, diamond, these stone materials represent 10 grade hardness.

2: Vickers hardness : it is calculated by counting the indentation length within a certain time .

3: Rockwell hardness : size 1.59mm/3.18mm steel ball drop down into the material surface with certain load. then the rockwell hardness is calculated with the depth of indentation

Pingxiang chemshun ceramics co.ltd (www.chemshun.com)is professional alumina ceramic lining manufacturer ,we have independent wear ceramic liner study and test lab with advanced machines. every batch of ceramic products goods will be tested in order to supply high quality abrasion resistant ceramic products.
