In the cement grinding areas, "roller presser + ball mill" in double closed joint grinding process, has become the mainstream technology in domestic cement grinding system.
Steel ball with density 7.8 g/cm3 is widely applied in cement grinding ,steel ball filled in ball mill causes heavy weight during grinding operation.which is the main reason for high electricity consumption. wear resistant ceramic grinding media density is generally 3.8 ~ 3.9g / cm3, density approximately reduced by half than steel ball. Half the density in a ball mill filling rate unchanged, the weight of grinding balls will be half. So it is bound to reduce the total weight, if the ball mill grinding efficiency remains unchanged, power consumption will be decreased.
Alumina ceramic balls is more suitable in cement grinding system for cost effective .chemshun ceramic balls is made from fine grinding micron size powder; rolling into ball shape and then sintered at high temperature.best feature is lower wear loss, 92% or 95% alumina content, sizes ranges from 13mm to 30mm. the physical properties compare with steel ball as followings:
